Our Finishes

The Art of the Finish

Each technique is a discipline in its own right — mastered over 15 years of practice across the finest interiors in South East England.

Venetian plaster is not a single material. It is a family of ancient techniques, each with its own character, depth, and application. We work exclusively with lime-based plasters and mineral pigments — materials that breathe, age beautifully, and cannot be replicated by synthetic alternatives.

All finishes are applied by hand. No two surfaces are identical.

Our Process

How We Work

01

Consultation

We visit your space, discuss your vision, and recommend the most suitable finish for your walls, lighting, and lifestyle.

02

Sample Boards

We produce hand-made sample boards in your chosen colour and finish so you can see exactly how the final result will look in your space.

03

Preparation

Proper substrate preparation is the foundation of a flawless finish. We prime, repair, and prepare every surface before a single coat of plaster is applied.

04

Application

Multiple coats, applied by hand, each one burnished and refined. The number of coats depends on the finish — Stucco Lustro may require six or more.

05

Sealing & Waxing

The final coat is sealed with a natural wax or resin, protecting the surface and enhancing its depth and lustre.
